Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an increasingly important tool in the marketing landscape and a core component of many Sitation product and service offerings. Sitation uses AI to assist in content creation, feature development, data processes, software development, and general operations. This AI usage policy is designed to guide our team in the responsible, transparent, and ethical use of AI.
Because of the fast-moving nature of AI technology, this policy is reviewed and updated on a regular basis to ensure it takes new AI capabilities, technology, and public policy into account.

All Sitation employees that utilize AI tools are trained and provided educational resources on the limitations and ethical issues of AI. These limitations and ethical issues include:

Human-Led Interactions and Review
Sitation believes in human-led AI interactions and review. Each instance of AI usage at Sitation is guided by an understanding of both what AI is capable of producing, and the limitations and dangers of using AI without human review or guidance. All AI interactions at Sitation are observed and reviewed by a human. Content generated by AI at Sitation is reviewed for potential bias or inaccuracy.

AI tools must go through an internal vetting process for security and privacy before they are approved for usage by Sitation employees.
Privacy
Sitation only uses AI tools and platforms with transparent and clear privacy policies that ensure that the handling of input data is clear and appropriate. Please review the privacy policies of the platforms in our Approved Tools section for more information on their security and privacy policies.
Impersonation
Sitation employees are forbidden from impersonating any person using AI, with the exception of using brand or style guides fed into AI models to reproduce the brand voice and tone on behalf of a client.
